# Advertiser Disclosure

KeepUp is free to use. To keep it that way, some of the financial products shown in the KeepUp [Marketplace](/marketplace) come from providers that pay us. This page explains what that means.

## How we are compensated

When you open an account, are approved for a card, or accept an introduction through a link in the Marketplace, the provider may pay KeepUp Financial, Inc. a referral fee. You never pay more for a product because you found it on KeepUp, and the fee does not change the terms the provider offers you.

## How compensation affects what you see

- The Marketplace lists only providers we have a commercial relationship with. It does not include every bank, card issuer, brokerage, or advisor available to you, and a product we do not list may be a better fit for you than one we do.
- The compensation we receive may influence which products we list and how they are presented, including their order on the page.
- Which offers are selected for you personally is decided on our own servers from the portfolio you track with us, unless you turn personalization off in Account Settings. Providers are not told who was shown an offer.

## What the provider decides

Rates, bonuses, fees, and eligibility are set by the provider and can change at any time. We try to keep what we display current and show an "as of" date, but the terms on the provider's own website are the ones that apply. Whether you are approved is the provider's decision alone. Any product you open is a contract between you and the provider.

## What we are not

KeepUp is not a bank, lender, broker-dealer, or registered investment advisor, and nothing in the Marketplace is financial advice. An offer appearing in your Marketplace is not a recommendation that the product is suitable for you.

## Your data

Clicking an offer sends the provider a random click identifier and nothing else. We never sell your data, and no account numbers, transactions, holdings, or institution names leave KeepUp.
